Hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. A hotel I will definitely be visiting again. Oh and did I mention that it is really well located for center of town but no traffic noise.

having lost my husband last month my daughter treated me to a london theatre break to try and cheer me up and she picked the st giles hotel as it was within easy reach of all the theatres.the hotel itself was brilliant with en-suite facilities,tv,tea and coffee making facilities also spotlessly clean.also underneath the hotel was a swimming pool and gym but did not have enough time to explore these.the breakfast was also brilliant,I was expecting a roll and jam but everything was laid on from cereal and fruit to full english breakfast.I would diffinately go back to st giles hotel again if I ever go back to London again it was well worth it.

The hotel was very centrally located, very clean and the staff were very helpful. I would recommend it to people and I would definitely stay there again if I go back to London for a visit.

This hotel is clearly geared up for coach parties as reception expects guests to queue up inside a series of roped off areas while waiting for check in. Last time we were greeted in this fashion it was in Butlins!
The receptionist struggled to make herself understood and did not complete our check-in adequately as we were later expected to pay for breakfast despite having been charged £103 for a single night's bed and breakfast.
When we located our room in the warren of narrow corridors, the dated bedroom was very small, the grungy bathroom was even smaller and the shower minute. One divan bed was uneven, leaving me clinging to the edge while the other was too mobile as the castors rolled at the slightest motion, so my poor husband spent the night with the bed sliding across the floor every time he turned over.
The bank of lifts proved inadequate to the predictable high demand in the morning, leaving guests on higher floors to wait for long periods or risk injury trying to negotiate steep staircases with luggage.
Breakfast was unappetising in an badly over-crowded, grubby cafeteria - no wonder reception had illuminating signs urging guests to breakfast before 8am! If you want to sit at a clean table, have a reasonable choice of food and eat in peace, then either get there at opening time or eat elsewhere.
This is not the worst hotel we have used in London, but it is very poor value and we will not return.

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel, excellent location, room was clean, staff friendly breakfast was very good... The buffet style English fry which was surprisingly good considering the number of people that were staying in the Hotel. I was prepared for noise at night(both from the traffic and guests!!) but we weren't disturbed at all. Would stay there again.

Fantastic Location, 2mins walk from Tottenham Court Road Tube Station, just over 5min walk into Leicester Square, most theatres within walking distance, some actually on your front door. Breakfast was superb for a buffet, everything that was supposed to be hot was hot and cold items were actually cold! Plenty of fried food along with fruit, breads, cheeses, drinks, juices etc. The staff couldn't have been nicer also, they even checked us in at 11am in the morning when we expected to just be leaving our bags with the consierge and returning later in the day to check in. The rooms were perfect, average size, clean, tea, coffee, tv...only gripe would be that the shower was very small, not a problem for us but could see anyone who was not agile having difficulty getting in and out of this shower. A lovely bar that serves until 2am weeknights and 3am at weekends which is great in london when you've had enough of crowds but just fancy one more for the road! Didn't get to see the swimming pool but heard someone in the bar say that it was grand, think it was a one off payment of 4pounds to use it for your entire stay. I will 100% stay at this hotel and have already recommended it to friends for future stays.

We were a party of six on a week-end in London and thanks to roomex who recommended the St. Giles hotel it made our week-end really enjoyable. The hotel is so central within walking distance of soho covent garden the westend and not forgetting oxford st. so cutting down on the need to use taxies.
The staff were extremely helpful even when the hotel was completely full.We had to queque for breakfast which was a full breakfast with a wide choice no shortage of anything not even seating.
The rooms were not large but clean and well serviced very quiet so we all got a good nights sleep. Also the bar was very lively and did not close until about 2am thanks for a really good week-end we all would return there again.

This hotel has by far, the smallest rooms of any hotel i've ever stayed in. I had upgraded to a doule room, however, there was barely enough room to walk around the bed, or close the door in the ensuite.
The hotel was well situated, and staffed seemed ok, although as they were always very busy, they didn't have time to say much to guests.
Breakfast was fine, although there were large queues.
