Was apprehensive about staying here after reading reviews on various other sites but stayed here on my own for two nights 17 & 18/1/2008 to attend an exhibition in the Olympia one stop away from the West Brompton Underground/Overground station near by. As reported elswhere the hotel is run down, the bedroom & lift are small, with stains on the bedclothes and carpet. 12" TV worked but stations limited. Did not go near the dining room as the coffee making facilities were adequate and was able to get some basic supplies from the M & S on Earls Court high street near bye. Bathroom while small was adequate and the shower worked fine. Only one towel & small piece of soap supplied. I would book this hotel again as it was CHEAP but only if I was on my own and could not get into the IBIS next door at a reasonable rate. In my experience most hotel rooms in London are small and basic unless you go upmarket. Graded it as Below average as there is no excuse for the stained carpet & bedclothes (sheets & pillow cases were clean). With no stains & overall cleaner I would have sidered it Very Good value for money in that I would have got what I paid for.
