The right style & location for a weekend stay. The hotel was cosy with friendly & helpful staff. The room was very suitable, away from the street side. It had all the usual facilities. The bathroom could have done with some heating. Each morning the buffet breakfast was very attractive, with a good range of both hot & cold food. However the floor service could have been a little bit more prompt and accurate. The lounge area was very relaxing both during the day and in the evening, whether for pre or post dinner drinks. It had a nice atmosphere and was a popular location in the hotel. The complimentary daily newspapers were a nice touch. Regarding the location, it was a short walk to the nearest underground station, giving access to three lines. It was also within walking distance of museums and shopping. Close to the hotel, there were a range of nice eating places and coffee shops.

We were delighted with Jurys Hotel Kensington. Its in such a great location just a few minutes walk from South Kensington tube station which is on the Picadilly line direct from Heathrow. It is also right beside the Victoria and Albert Museum and a short stroll from Harrods and all the shops in Knightsbridge.
We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcone.
Our room was very comfortable and was well stocked with toileteries and hairdryer etc.
The breakfast was excellent. In every respect we would return to Jurys Kensington.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were there for the weekend. The location was ideal & very central.
The rooms were a bit dated but you couldn't fault them in any way, being clean and tidy with the usual comforts, Staff very friendly, all in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay !

We stayed in Jurys Kensington. I picked Jurys having had very good experiences in other Jurys hotels but was a bit disappointed at the 'faded grandeur' of the hotel considering its wonderful location in Queensway. I think the twin room we had was the smallest room I ever had in a hotel! All was adequate though though except for the fact that the Teasmade facilities didnt seem to include ordinary Tea! Both mornings I fancied a cuppa and had to make do with either Herbal teas or the very aromatic Earl Grey. I was gasping for a good old fashioned cup of tea. I have to say though that the Concierge service in the hotel was SUPERB. I have a mobility difficulty and the assistance I received from the various Concierges I encountered there for the weekend made a huge difference to the whole trip. Nothing was too much trouble. I had hired a mobility scooter for my stay, they stored it for me, lifted it in and out of the hotel and generally 'took care' of me. I'm sad that now Jurys is closing for a 're-build' that such wonderful staff will be looking for work but I'm sure that they'll receive glowing recommendations enabling them to get work elsewhere very quickly.
